Need to have an emergency kitWhen you are out on the open road riding in your family car, it is very important that you always stay prepared for any type of emergency situation. Emergencies occur without warning and making sure you are ready can be the difference between life or death. Having a car medical kit is one way to be prepared. So, what is a car medical kit you ask? Enter A Go Bag, or a small bag/ container containing some key first aid items. Just keep it handy, either in your trunk or glove compartment so you can have access to them quickly if needed. Here is a list of some must-have items in your car medical kit:
Band-Aids — these are excellent for little cuts and scrapes. Wounds like this you should have various sizes and shapes. If you ever get a cut while swimming or if it's raining, there are even waterproof Band-Aids.
Antiseptic wipes- for wiping wounds before applying the other supplies They kill germs, protecting the body from infection. Putting a Band-Aid over the wound is always better than no band aid, but nothing beats taking time to clean it first.

Water/ snacks: Always handy if you find yourself stranded with no way to eat or drink. This can make the wait for help seem like days after a disaster, staying hydrated and having some food in your system may be more bearable.
Pack Everything For the most part, this is straightforward: simply place your items in either a clear zip-lock bag or one (or more) of those handy metal containers. For example, you could use a ziplock bag or small container. This makes it easy to locate things.
